The growth at quarterback has taken time but black quarterbacks in the league are starting to be seen more and more these days and they are flourishing.
The late Steve McNair was the first to win a league MVP award with the Tennessee Titans in 2003.
Since then, we have seen the likes of Patrick Mahomes multiple times as well as Cam Newton, and possibly Lamar Jackson getting his second MVP trophy.
The way CJ Stroud is playing in Houston, a future MVP trophy appears to be in his future.
