Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Adam Thielen reportedly needed to get stitches for a bad cut he suffered during Wednesday’s practice, sources told NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.
“You know how it is. I got a little tangled up in practice,” Thielen said Thursday on “Good Morning Football,” according to NFL Network’s Will Selva. “It’s the playoffs. I’m going to do whatever it takes to be out there with my teammates and help this team win.”
The veteran wide receiver also missed six games this season with a lingering hamstring injury.
The initial diagnosis is that he will be ready to play Saturday against the San Francisco 49ers, but Minnesota is still gathering information and will proceed with caution, Pelissero added.
The 29-year-old caught 30 passes for 418 yards receiving and six touchdowns during the 2019 season.
