Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson has explained why he still lives in a modest townhouse despite having become the highest-paid wide receiver in the NFL.
Jefferson is one of the wideouts featured in the new Netflix series, ‘Receiver,’ in which we learned he lives in a $405K residence.
He was asked about it while speaking to reporters at training camp this week and pointed out that he doesn’t have a huge family and doesn’t need a mansion.
“I’m one person, I ain’t got no big family,’ he said, per Jeff Wald, who posted a video of the explanation to social media. “I don’t need to be in no $10 million mansion, that’s not something I came from”
“I grew up with parents that were grateful for what they had, and I was grateful for what I grew up with,” he added. “I never grew up having no big old house, maybe I’ll move onto that, maybe not. I guess we’ll find out sooner or later.”

Justin Jefferson Agreed To Massive Deal With Minnesota Vikings This Offseason
Jefferson agreed to a record-breaking deal with the Vikings earlier this year that will pay him $140 million over four years. $110 million of that is guaranteed, with $88.7 fully guaranteed on signing.
Set to make $35 million a year, Jefferson is the highest-paid non-QB in NFL history. He received a $36.9 million signing bonus for 2024 and is set for a $30 million option bonus for 2025.
Still, it doesn’t appear that he’s moving into a mansion anytime soon.
