It was a rough game for the Minnesota Vikings. Not only did they lose the game, 34-33, after a missed 37-yard field-goal as time expired, but they also saw their star running back sustain an injury that could hamper him for a few weeks…
And Dalvin Cook is NOT happy about how he got the injury, either!
During a second-half running play for the Vikes, Arizona Cardinals defensive end J.J. Watt made his way around the edge and tackled Cook at the ankles. It seemed like a typical play that happens dozens of times each game, but the Minny running back felt as though there was a little more to it.
While being attended to for what appeared to be an ankle injury after the play, Watt went over and had a word with Cook, who didn’t seem to pleased with his opponent’s tackling tactics.
At one point, it appeared as though their conversation was turning sour and Cook’s teammates were forced to step in.

You can’t blame Cook for being upset about getting injured, but that hardly seems like foul play on Watt’s part. Did he go low? Yes. But he also appeared to be falling on his way towards tackling Cook. And he gets paid to make tackles, so you can’t expect him to just let the running back go at that point.
I’m sure some Vikings fans will disagree, though.
