Vikings Place Four On COVID-19 List Including First-Round WR Justin Jefferson

The Minnesota Vikings announced Monday that they’ve placed first-round WR Justin Jefferson, OT Blake Brandel, S Brian Cole II, and OL Tyler Higby on the reserve/COVID-19 list.

Four Vikings, including their first-round pick, are being placed on the reserve/COVID list. It doesn’t mean they have it; they may have just been exposed to it. The COVID-19 list was created for a player who either tests positive for or who has been quarantined after having been in close contact with an infected person.

Players will remain on the list until they are medically cleared to return.

The most notable player is 21-year-old Jefferson who was selected by the Vikings with the No. 22 overall pick.

In three years with the Tigers — Jefferson racked up 165 receptions for 2,415 yards and 24 touchdowns.
