The sports world is still in mourning after the tragic news came down that former Minnesota Vikings and Seattle Seahawks quarterback Tarvaris Jackson died Sunday night in a car crash. He was 36-years-old.
Jackson was involved in a single-vehicle crash when his 2012 Chevrolet Camaro he was driving left the roadway, struck a tree and then overturned.
The Minnesota Vikings franchise stepped up big time by posting a highlight reel of his best plays while playing for the team.
The Vikings released the following statement:
“The entire Vikings family is saddened by the news of Tarvaris Jackson being taken from us too soon. One of Tarvaris’ greatest attributes was his positive outlook and approach. He genuinely cared about others, was a good friend and will be missed by family, teammates and Vikings fans everywhere. We send our deepest condolences to his family.”

Selected in the 2006 NFL Draft, Jackson had a 10-10 record as a starter with the Vikings, racking up 3,884 yards, 24 touchdowns, and 22 interceptions. He also added 535 yards and four touchdowns on the ground.
