Thousands, if not millions of people around the country can certainly feel and understand the frustration that New Orleans Saints players and fans are going through with the outcome of the NFC Championship game, but Anthony Barr is not one of those people.
TMZ Sports caught up with the Minnesota Vikings outside linebacker at the airport and asked him his feelings about the pass interference blunder that caused the Saints an opportunity to get to the Super Bowl.
“Sorry. Take your L and keep pushing,” Barr told TMZ Sports when asked what his message would be to Saints fans. “It happens. It’s unfortunate, but it’s the world we live in. It’s not perfect.”
A few Saints fans are clearly not taking their L in stride after one of them started a petition and got more than half a million people to sign it to replay that game and two others filed a lawsuit against the NFL for an official’s non-call in the team’s 26-23 loss against the Los Angeles Rams.
“You can’t replay a game after the results are in.”
Many Saints fans believe the NFL should force the team to replay the final two minutes, with wide receiver Michael Thomas agreeing with the stand earlier in the week.
