Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill was handcuffed outside Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium just hours before the Dolphins were scheduled to kick off against Jacksonville.
Hill was eventually released and went on to play in Miami’s 20-17 victory.
Following the victory, Hil spoke to a reporter about his day, from when he left home to being detained to having a monster game.
Before Sunday’s game, Hill was detained by police outside Hard Rock Stadium for a driving violation.
Things got so bad that Tyreek Hill was handcuffed and put face down on the ground by the police, but he was still able to play in the Week 1 game.
His agent, Drew Rosenhaus, said Hill received a ticket for reckless driving while he was going into the stadium.

“The most upsetting part is the way that he was treated. Tyreek is not a guy that should be at his own stadium in handcuffs,” Rosenhaus said. “We’re going to look into it. This isn’t over on our end.”
