A police officer dragged Miami Dolphins receiver Tyreek Hill out of his sports car by his arm and head and then placed him under arrest all because he would not comply with rolling down his window.
The video showed that the altercation between the Miami-Dade County officers and Hill escalated quickly.
Police Director Stephanie Davis said the tape would normally not be released while the investigation is ongoing, but she wanted to demonstrate the department’s “commitment to transparency and maintaining public trust.”
Video shows that two motorcycle officers went after Tyreek Hill after he reportedly sped past them in his McLaren sports car.
Once pulled over, one cop knocked on the driver’s window and told him to put it down, which Hill did. The cop then handed him his driver’s license.
“Don’t knock on my window like that,” Hill told the officer.
“I have to knock to let you know I am here,” the officer said.

“Just give me my ticket, bro, so I can go. I am going to be late. Do what you gotta do,” Tyreek Hill told the officer.
“Keep your window down,” the officer told him, again tapping on the glass.
Hill cracked the window and said, “Don’t tell me what to do,” while putting the window up again.
Things escalated as the officer demanded he get out while threatening to break the window.
He was then dragged out.
Tyreek Hill Gives Explanation As To Why He Did Not Comply With Keeping His Window Down
Released body cam footage showed the altercation between the Miami-Dade County officers and Hill escalated quickly.
One video showed a cop and Tyreek going back and forth about his window being down.
During an interview with CNN’s Kaitlin Collins, Tyreek Hill explained that he did not want to keep his window down due to passer-bys possibly noticing him and wanting to take pictures just hours before the game.
He didn’t want to create a scene, but ultimately, it did not work.
“If I let my window down, like, people walking by, driving by, they’re going to notice that it’s me, and they’re going to start taking pictures.
“And, like, I didn’t want to create a scene at all. Like, I just really wanted to get the ticket and then just go on about my way and then just have a great Sunday.”
