Troy Aikman is one of the most well-known names in pro football. Aikman was a member of the Dallas Cowboys, quarterbacking the team to their last Super Bowl victory in 1996. He is now a broadcaster for ESPN.
One of this week’s Monday Night Football games occurred last night as the Chicago Bears took on the Minnesota Vikings. The Bears have been struggling all season after bringing in former USC quarterback Caleb Williams with the first overall pick of the 2024 NFL Draft.
While Williams may be to blame for some of Chicago’s mishaps this season, the Bears have made several moves in the coaching department this season. These moves were recently headlined after they fired Matt Eberflus following some horrible clock management.
With the Bears in so much coaching turmoil after firing both their head coach and offensive coordinator this season, it seems as though the aforementioned Troy Aikman is offering the Bears some advice on who to look at for their next hire.

"There has been discussion about, 'Do you give up some picks and see if you can maybe make a deal for a guy like Kyle Shanahan?' I would be all in on that. Because he would develop a quarterback and is a hell of a head coach." https://t.co/iEZ4agFIZk pic.twitter.com/ngs66LoR40
Troy Aikman Suggests The Bears Go After Kyle Shanahan

Aikman went on to confirm his thoughts on the ordeal, claiming that it would be an excellent idea for the folks in Chicago. “I would be all in on that. Because he would develop a quarterback and is a hell of a head coach,” he said.
Under Matt Eberflus, the Bears went 14-32 before he was fired after week 13. Shanahan’s 70-59 regular-season coaching record would be a way better option for the Bears than what they have been used to recently.
