Even Al Michaels was sick and tired of the number of flags that were thrown in the first half of the ‘Thursday Night Football’ clash between the Dallas Cowboys and New York Giants.
Multiple yellow objects hit the turf during the half. The home team accumulated nine at the cost of 70 yards, while New York lost 25 yards on three of them, including a 15-yarder for a bogus facemask penalty.
Al Michaels was as frustrated as all of us and had several things to say about the annoying number of penalties, including the quip below.

“The Goat!!” a user declared.
“12 penalties flags in the first half.. 🤢 as if TNF didn’t suck to begin with,” someone added.
“This league sure ain’t what it used to be. Ask Al!” said a third.
“He sounds legitimately miserable,” a fourth observed.
The Cowboys were leading the Giants 14-12 in the third quarter at the time of writing, with the visitors unable to find the end zone up to that point, probably thanks to that bad call early in the first quarter.
