Taylor Swift’s brother, Austin Swift, came to the rescue of a young female fan after security personnel attempted to kick her out of Taylor’s Eras Tour concert in Indianapolis on Saturday.
The clip below shows security challenging the fan, who’s dressed up as Travis Kelce, trying to get the Chiefs star’s attention after he walks in.
The fan, clad in a Kelce jersey, Chiefs helmet, and gloves, was held by one of the security staffers, who told her, “Let’s go, he needs to head out, this is not allowed,” as he wasn’t aware he was dealing with a female until she took her helmet off.
Austin would intervene, telling security, “Hey, let’s not put hands on people,” before telling the fan, “I’m sorry about that. It’s a really cool costume.”
They shared some words before he told her, “You guys enjoy the concert. Have a great night.”

Fans Didn’t Think Having A Kelce Costume At Taylor Swift’s Concert Was the Reason For The Incident
Fans on social media don’t agree that the Kelce get-up was the reason for security wanting to throw the kid out and felt it had more to do with her face being somewhat concealed while she tried approaching the barriers.
“That was really cool of him. I feel like it was more about her edging closer than about the costume but who knows & if it was a problem why wasn’t it flagged when she went in,” someone wrote.
“i don’t think the costume is the problem. she was hella weird trying to get travis attention in middle of the song. her weird walk while wearing a helmet maybe made them sus,” another said.
Austin also gave the fan some guitar picks.
As for the real Travis Kelce, it’s understood that his appearance was a surprise as Taylor Swift and her family did not expect him to attend because of his football schedule.
The star tight end played a crucial role in the Chiefs’ win over the Buccaneers on Monday night, helping them to an 8-0 record.
