Pads were on this week for the Houston Texans, and the newest wide receiver, Stefon Diggs, would get the full force from his defense as a result.
Diggs is known to rile up teammates and opponents, as he demonstrated several times while a member of the Buffalo Bills.
Diggs joined the Houston Texans earlier this year after spending five seasons with the Minnesota Vikings and then four seasons with the Bills.
Stefon Diggs got his official welcome to the team when a brief scuffle broke out between the wide receiver and safety Jimmie Ward following a hard hit.
Once he was hit, tight end Dalton Schultz came to his defense, but cornerback Derek Stingley Jr. would eliminate him by pushing him to the ground.

Hopefully, the Texans will refrain from trying to hurt Stefon Diggs and leave all of that anger to their joint practice with the Los Angeles Rams next month ahead of their preseason matchup.
Texans WR Tank Dell Has High Praise of Stefon Diggs
The addition of Stefon Diggs has already been beneficial to the Houston Texans.
The Texans traded for Diggs this offseason to elevate Stroud’s status and his passing attack.
Just days into camp, and he is already receiving praise.
“He wants us to be great, he knows what we’re capable of, and he knows we have a long career ahead of ourselves,” Dell said on Friday following practice, per Texans Wire. “He’s just telling us what we can expect, how to move, and things like that.”
Head coach DeMeco Ryans and general manager Nick Caserio previously spoke on Diggs locker room presence to serve a person to “teach more tricks of the trade that maybe coaches don’t know.”
