Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley had a record-breaking night against the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday, running for 255 yards (a career high) and two touchdowns that helped the Birds soar to a decisive 37-20 victory.
Barkley stood on the sideline of SoFi Stadium, smiling from ear to ear as the Eagles’ new single-game rushing record holder.
He had no clue until he was told.
The first thing he wanted to know was if a staff member had the football.
That is when he got depressing news.
Cameras caught Saquon Barkley asking, “Do you have that ball?”
The staff member reminded him, “You gave it away.”

Barkley nearly fell to his knees as he remembered what he did after scoring his last touchdown.
The beginning of the above video shows Barkley jumping in the air and throwing the ball to an Eagles fan on the ground floor.
There is no word on whether he got that ball back.

Saquon Barkley Has Turned The Eagles Into A Super Bowl Contender
Saquon Barkley’s career night in the Philadelphia Eagles’ 37-20 win over the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday Night Football further reminded people that he was the biggest pickup of the offseason.
Barkley rushed for a career-high 255 yards to go with two touchdowns and 302 scrimmage yards.
The team is 9-2 with a sizeable lead in the NFC East.
Something has been missing from the Eagles game, and Saquon has certainly added it.
The 27-year-old has now rushed for 1,392 yards and ten touchdowns through 11 games while adding 27 catches for 257 yards and two more scores.
