Skip Bayless, the former iconic host of Fox Sports 1’s Undisputed, is back with his hot takes.
Bayless typically sticks to sports, but since he is no longer tied to a major network and the Presidential election is on Tuesday, the former Fox Sports and ESPN personality decided to make it clear where he stood.
On Monday night, the 72-year-old took to his podcast and admitted that he’s neither a Democrat nor a Republican but openly pondered if Vice President Kamala Harris was the “dynamic leader and decision maker this country needs and deserves.”
“Just for the record, I am neither Democrat nor Republican,” Bayless said on his eponymous podcast via YouTube. “I did not vote for Donald Trump either of the first two times. But I must admit: I’m having a hard time convincing myself that Kamala Harris will make the kind of president this country deserves.”
He also called Donald Trump a “Natural born leader.”
“They are voting for Kamala only because there is no way they would vote for Donald Trump. It’s not that they believe deeply in Kamala … it’s just that they have condemned Donald Trump as a far-right psycho who cannot be allowed back into power.”

“Let me say this about Donald Trump,” Bayless continues. “I do not share a number of his views. Or maybe many of his views. But I do believe that he is a natural-born leader who isn’t afraid to make tough decisions.”
Skip Bayless also acknowledged that Trump has some “General Patton in him,” referring to George S. Patton from World War II.
“Donald Trump has some hard-ass commander in him,” says Bayless. “Sometimes when you want to preserve your freedom from superpowers that want to take it from you, you need a Patton on your side, in the controls, even if you don’t believe in his politics.”
Skip Bayless stated that he hasn’t been happy with Trump, though.
“You are Donald freaking Trump. You are one of the most recognizable men in the world. You are one of the most successful businessmen in the history of the world. You don’t need to lie, exaggerate, or even embellish the truth. You should be so much better than that. You’ve earned being better than that,” Bayless said.
He finished: “I’m not even sure I can trust our voting process anymore. How many votes are being allowed from people who are not even U.S. citizens? I have no idea.”

Skip Bayless Has Not Made A Move Since Leaving FS1
Skip Bayless signed a four-year, $32 million deal with Fox Sports in 2021 after initially joining in 2016.
His run with the company ended in August 2024.
In a social media post, Bayless shared that he had just completed his last FS1 show.
“Today was my last show on Undisputed. I’m leaving FS1,” Bayless posted on X, formerly known as Twitter. “I’ve been planning to pursue other opportunities for several months. I had a great 8-year run with a lot of great people at Fox, but now I’m excited for what’s coming up. Stay tuned.”
The sports talk program was plagued by controversy. Bayless and co-host Shannon Sharpe had several escalating tense moments on-air, which led to the hall-of-fame tight end leaving the show.
Since Bayless’ departure, he has not made a move elsewhere and decided to just do his podcast.
