Houston rapper Megan Thee Stallion was the latest guest to appear in the latest episode of Club Shay Shay, hosted by Shannon Sharpe.
Before they got things going, Sharpe had something he had to get off of his chest.
The Pro Football Hall of Famer looked Megan Thee Stallion right in her eyes and apologized to her over disturbing sexual comments about her in the show Nightcap in 2023.
Last year, Shannon Sharpe was speaking to Chad “Ohocinco” Johnson when he talked about having sex with Megan, stating, “I’d have her stretched out like quarter to three. I do it three ways, Ocho: deep, hard, and continuously … I’d have her opening up like saloon doors.”
On Monday, the official Instagram page of Club Shay Shay posted a short clip of Sharpe offering his sincere apology to Megan for what he said about her on Nightcap./
“I want to apologize to you personally and I did – you know I always wanted to say that I wanted to have a conversation with you, added knowing that it was going to be possible. But I was always hoping that I got an opportunity to bump into you.”

Megan responded, “I appreciate that.” The pair later toasted the occasion with a shot of Le Portier, which is Sharpe’s luxury cognac.
This isn’t the first time Shannon Sharpe stated something about a female rapper that landed him in trouble. While speaking about Saweetie, he referred to the rapper as “the one that used to date Quavo.”
She did not appreciate that line and hit back at him with her long list of accomplishments, including partnering with MAC Cosmetics and McDonald’s.
Shannon Sharpe Speaks On Him And Skip Bayless Sitting Down To ‘Have a Conversation’
Shannon Sharpe’s career in the media has been trending upwards ever since he left Fox Sports.
Before this point, he was known for arguing with Undisputed co-host Skip Bayless. However, a couple of arguments got too heated, and it led to his departure from the show.
Reflecting on the arguments and time there, Sharpe stated on the Funky Friday podcast hosted by former NFL quarterback Cam Newton that there may be a time soon when they sit down and have a conversation.
