We simply cannot go one week without fans fighting in the stands, and it was on full display right after the Atlanta Falcons delivered a shocking victory in overtime against the Tampa Bay Bucs.
Massive brawls in NFL stadiums happen every year and pretty much every week since the start of this season.
You’d never expect to see one on an official NFL social media video, but that is exactly what happened after the Atlanta Falcons beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Thursday Night Football.
In the game, Atlanta Falcons QB Kirk Cousins found KhaDarel Hodge for the game-winning walk-off touchdown in a 36-30 victory.
Like others before him, Hodge was awarded the opportunity to do a selfie-style video immediately after the game. And that video was eventually posted to the NFL’s official X account.
Unfortunately, nobody running the league’s social media department actually looked at everything in the video because if they had, they would’ve seen fans fighting in the stands right behind Hodge.

Even fans in the comment section called it out:
This game was easily the best one for Atlanta Falcons wide receiver KhaDarel Hodge. He caught his first two passes of the 2024 season, which went for 67 yards and the one game-winning touchdown.
Missed Facemask Penalty Gave KhaDarel Hodge The Chance To Play Hero
The Tampa Bay Bucs should be waking up to a 4-1 record.
Thursday night’s thriller in Atlanta comes with a small asterisk.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers lost in overtime, but the game should not have gone to overtime in the first place.
With the Buccaneers trying to chew time off the clock, running back Bucky Irving found his facemask being yanked, but no penalty was thrown.
Had the penalty been called, the Bucs would have been in field goal territory. Instead, they had a penalty called on them, and the Atlanta Falcons received new life.
From there, the Falcons won the coin toss, and Kirk Cousins hit KhaDarel Hodge with what ended up being the game-winning touchdown.
