We were all aware of Drake Maye and his arm back in college, but he reminded people of just how incredible his arm was during a playoff game of Dodgeball.
The New England Patriots players and coaches chose to spend some time in the community on this week instead of working on the practice fields at Gillette Stadium just ahead of the 2024 NFL season. Their travels eventually took them to the Perkins Community Center/Lee School, where they engaged in a variety of activities with the young students, including a game of Dodgeball.
The funniest moment came when Patriots rookie quarterback Drake Maye showed why he was drafted by the team when he nailed center David Andrews and knocked him out of the game.
The Patriots players also had a game against students, and Drake Maye showed how much of a savage he was by nailing kids as well.
Back in April, the former University of North Carolina quarterback was selected third overall in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft by the New England Patriots.

Drake Maye is just a few months away from starting his era in New England after signing his rookie contract.
Maye reportedly received a four-year deal with the Patriots for $36.6 million — all fully guaranteed — with a $23.4 million signing bonus. He will carry a $6.6 million cap hit for his rookie season, per ESPN.
