Two Denver Broncos fans seemingly upset the folks in the Carolina Panthers’ ownership suite so much that they were thrown out by security.
The Carolina Panthers’ nightmare 2024 season hit another bump on Sunday, falling 28-14 to Sean Payton’s squad in a Super Bowl 50 rematch. Making his first start since Week 2 in place of an injued Andy Dalton, Bryce Young threw two interceptions and was sacked twice in the 14-point defeat.
X/Twitter user @luke_beatty shared a video of security guards at Empower Field throwing out two Broncos fans. The security officials are seen speaking to someone in the Panthers’ owners’ suite, before making their way down to confront the Broncos supporters.
The two men are then escorted out of their seats by security, much to the chagrin of other Broncos fans. Before leaving, the Broncos fan has a verbal exchange with a person in Carolina’s suite:
This incident is especially noteworthy because it’s not the first instance of Carolina Panthers ownership acting sour towards fans. Last season, David Tepper was fined $300,000 for throwing a drink at a heckling fan in Carolina’s blowout loss against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Ahead of the 2024 NFL Draft, a restaurant in Charlotte had an outside sign that read, “Please Let the Coach & GM Pick This Year.” Tepper paid a visit to the restaurant, and surveillance got him removing manager’s hat (apparently a Philadelphia Eagles hat).
Carolina Panthers Have Become Football’s Worst Team Under David Tepper
Tepper took over as the owner of a once-promising Carolina franchise in 2018. From 2013 to 2017, the Panthers reached the postseason four times, won three NFC South division titles and reached Super Bowl 50.
But under Tepper’s ownership, Carolina has never finished with more than seven wins in a single season. They were football’s worst team a year ago at 2-15, and they’re in the running to finish dead-last for the second straight year.
