A slick new video shows a behind-the-scenes look at Nickelodeon’s broadcast for the final play call of Super Bowl 58 between the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers.
Super Bowl 58 was broadcast on CBS with the network’s top commentary team of Jim Nantz and Tony Romo. As an alternative for young fans,, Nickelodeon also had a broadcast with a SpongeBob SquarePants theme. Noah Eagle and Nate Burleson served as the commentators for the Nickelodeon broadcast.

The Nickelodeon broadcast of Super Bowl 58 averaged around 1.2 million viewers. With 123.4 million viewers, Super Bowl 58 also set a record for the most-watched television program in America.
Kansas City defeated San Francisco 25-22 in overtime to win their second straight Super Bowl title, as well as their third in five years. The Chiefs became the first team to win back-to-back Super Bowls since the 2003 and ’04 New England Patriots.
