Brady is in the first season of a 10-year, $375 million deal he signed with FOX Sports in the summer of 2022. It was initially believed that he would start his broadcasting career immediately after retirement, but Brady took a year off before moving into the booth this year.
The seven-time Super Bowl champion has faced immense criticism early in his broadcasting career, with many fans calling out his lack of energy and passion on some calls. Then again, one has to remember that the NFL icon can only improve over time with experience. Calling the game in the booth is a lot different than playing on the field, after all.
Tom Brady Will Be On The Call For Super Bowl 59
Fans who aren’t pleased with Brady’s performance as an analyst better get used to it, because he’ll be calling the biggest game of the year in four months. Brady, Burkhardt and Erin Andrews are set to call Super Bowl 59 on Feb. 11 inside New Orleans’ Caesars Superdome.
Brady appeared in 10 Super Bowls during his illustrious playing career, winning seven of them. So nobody is better suited and more experienced to call a Super Bowl in the broadcast booth.
