The Pro Football Hall of Fame is the pinnacle of individual accomplishment in the sport, and Cam Newton is a man who knows which two positions are the hardest for anyone to be good at.
The former NFL quarterback was on his Fourth and One podcast this week watching a video of Kevin Durant trying his best but ultimately failing to rush the quarterback against a former Temple offensive lineman.
Durant ultimately ended up on the ground.
Newton’s co-host mentioned that people do not typically give credit to the offensive linemen or defensive lineman.
That led former NFL MVP Cam Newton to name his top two hardest positions in the National Football League: offensive tackle and defensive back.
“The hardest position in all of sports is two of,” Newton said on his Fourth and One podcast. “Number one: It is an offensive tackle. Also, I’ll give you another one. A center. You don’t appreciate a center until something goes wrong.”

Newton then illustrated his point by jumping in the air to simulate a center hiking the ball too high, all while having to still block guys like Aaron Donald.
“And you got to block!” he said.
He then added defensive backs.
Cam Newton finished his point by telling anyone who did not agree with him to “kiss my melanin a–.”
Here is how fans reacted to it:
