Kansas City Chiefs superstar quarterback Patrick Mahomes has fans on social media in stitches after the team posted a video of him cracking a bundle of jokes in practice.
Patrick Mahomes has never been shy about expressing his sense of humor outside of football. For No. 15, it’s usually all business during practices and games, though he recently decided to let loose in a session last week.
The Chiefs’ X/Twitter account posted a montage of several epic soundbites from the three-time Super Bowl champion. This included an instance where he told his offensive line that the “crooked finger gets me every time” and a moment where he informed his coaches that he had forgotten his practice pants.
Social media took great joy in Mahomes’ humorous side being displayed here in practice:

Though Mahomes had his worst statistical season as a starting QB in 2023 (4,183 yards, 27 touchdowns and a career-high 14 interceptions), he once again saved his best for when it mattered most.
In the postseason, Mahomes returned to his all-world form, throwing just six touchdowns against one interception. He orchestrated two game-winning drives, including the Super Bowl 58 clincher in overtime against the San Francisco 49ers.
The Chiefs completed the first NFL repeat since the 2003 and ’04 New England Patriots. Now they’ll try to become the first team in history to win three straight Super Bowls, with that quest beginning in the NFL Kickoff Game on Sept. 5 vs. Lamar Jackson’s Baltimore Ravens.
Patrick Mahomes Could Have A Career Year In 2024
It’s scary to think that Mahomes can be even better after winning three Super Bowls and two league MVPs over his first six seasons as a starting quarterback. But GM Brett Veach bolstered the offense by adding wide receivers Marquise ‘Hollywood’ Brown and rookie Xavier Worthy.
With Travis Kelce, Rashee Rice, Isiah Pacheco and a top-tier offensive line also at Mahomes’ side, he could very well top his career 2018 season in which he threw for 5,097 yards and 50 touchdowns.
