LSU Tigers wide receiver Malik Nabers just dropped a major hint on which team will take him with their first-round pick in this month’s 2024 NFL Draft.
Malik Nabers met with the Los Angeles Chargers on Wednesday, one day after he visited the Arizona Cardinals. The Cards hold the No. 4 pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, and the Chargers are right behind them at No. 5.
In an Instagram live story, Nabers indicated that he’s shopping for a home in Los Angeles. Make of that as you will, but it’s easy to put the pieces together and predict that he’ll eventually be selected by the Chargers.
The Chicago Bears hold the first overall pick and are presumably going to use it on USC quarterback Caleb Williams. The Washington Commanders and New England Patriots will also likely take QBs with the No. 2 and No. 3 picks, respectively.
With Arizona committed to Kyler Murray, there are two intriguing decisions to pick from: Take a top WR prospect to help Murray, or trade the pick to another QB-needy team.

If they stay at No. 5, the Chargers will be guaranteed one of the top wide receiver prospects in Nabers, Ohio State’s Marvin Harrison Jr. or Washington’s Rome Odunze. And considering that they parted ways with both Keenan Allen (traded to Chicago) and Mike Williams (released), it’d be a giant surprise if the Bolts didn’t use their pick on a wide receiver.
Malik Nabers Is A Can’t-Miss Prospect
The LSU product is the No. 4 ranked 2024 NFL Draft prospect on the latest big board from ESPN’s Mel Kiper. Though Harrison Jr. is considered by many to be a generational WR prospect, Nabers also carries limitless potential.
Nabers played in a star-studded LSU offense led by Heisman Trophy winner Jayden Daniels and fellow star wideout Brian Thomas Jr. Nabers has 89 receptions for 1,569 yards and 14 touchdowns in his final season of LSU, and he has all the tools necessary to be a game-changing superstar in the NFL.
