Rapper Lil Wayne went after the NFL again over what he reckons was a snub.
The ‘Mr. Carter’ artist hasn’t quite gotten over being passed over for the Super Bowl halftime show performance, with the big game set to take place in his hometown of New Orleans.
Wayne was addressing the audience at his Lil WeezyAna Fest on the weekend when he revealed having a dream of headlining the halftime show in front of his mother, claiming it was “ripped away” from him.

Lil Wayne Admitted He Was Broken Following The Decision
While the veteran rapper was expected to be the one performing and was reportedly shortlisted, having openly campaigned, the NFL opted to go with Kendrick Lamar in a move Wayne said “broke” him.
“And when I felt like s**t, you guys reminded me that I ain’t s**t without y’all. And that’s an amazing reality. It broke me, and I’m just trying to put me back together,” he said in September.
