NFL fans are making the same joke after seeing an image of Emmanuel Forbes in a Los Angeles Rams uniform for the first time.
On Monday, the Rams claimed Emmanuel Forbes after he was waived by the Washington Commanders. The No. 16 pick of 2023 will now try to revive his career with the Rams after a short-lived and forgettable stint in DC.
The Rams shared a video of Forbes in his new team uniform for the first time, but fans noticed something unrelated to the LA jersey. Rather, they couldn’t help but notice how small his legs appear in the video:

That led to a plethora of jokes from fans on X/Twitter about the size of Emmanuel Forbes’ legs:
“Those legs play football?,” asked one fan.
“Fellas… Dont skip leg day!,” wrote another.

The Mississippi State product is listed at 6 feet and 180 pounds, which is around the average size of an NFL cornerback. But judging by his appearance in that video, he certainly doesn’t need to worry about his upper body as much as his lower body in the gym.
In 20 games over his short tenure with the Commanders, Emmanuel Forbes recorded two interceptions, 12 pass breakups and one forced fumble.

Forbes didn’t each his potential in Washington, but a well-coached team like Sean McVay’s Los Angeles Rams could very well fulfill his potential. This team has a recent and rich history of developing hidden gems into studs, namely Kyren Williams, Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua.
As a recent and former first-round pick, Forbes has a sky-high ceiling and can definitely emerge as a quality shutdown corner in the right system. The Rams have constantly fielded a good defense since McVay’s arrival in 2017, so maybe Forbes will be the next one to find success in his system.
