Kayla Nicole has rarely mentioned Travis Kelce’s name since their breakup, but that changed this week when they discussed sports bets for Monday Night Football.
Nicole gave rare commentary on ex-boyfriend Travis Kelce’s performance for the start of the 2024 season when she said, “More a slow start for the guy Travis Kelce,” she said while hosting a Vivid Picks segment alongside NFL alums Brandon Marshall, Aqib Talib, and Dak Prescott’s brother Tad.
Kayla Nicole asked everyone if they thought he’d top 58.5 receiving yards for the night.
“Do you think that he’s gonna get more than 58.5 receiving yards?”
“Yeah, I think he gets more. Like I said, no Rashee Rice, they tried to force feed him last time, so you’re going to definitely need him,” Talib stated.
Travis Kelce hauled in 9-of-10 targets for 70 yards in Monday night’s 26-13 win over the New Orleans Saints.

Kayla Nicole Speaks Out with Message Following Attacks From Fans
Reporter and fitness influencer Kayla Nicole was forced to break her silence last year amid her ex-boyfriend Travis Kelce starting a relationship with Taylor Swift.
Nicole wrote a powerful open letter to Black girls amid the “backlash” she’s gotten from online trolls.
Nicole read her message to the camera in a video shared on Instagram. “It’s always been really important for me to use my platform, not to create division, but to elevate and unite women, Black women specifically,” she said before beginning her address.
“Dear Black girl, they may call you a traitor for falling in love. You’ll hope the ones closest will protect you, but you will quickly find out that people don’t protect what they don’t value. They’ll say you’re too much, too provocative, too boisterous, too outspoken, and in the same breath, tell you that you aren’t enough.”
Kayla Nicole continued, “They’ll say you deserve the backlash and embarrassment. Because of your Blackness, you should have known better. They’ll even try to tie your value to your net worth. But Black girl, please remember your value lies elsewhere. Your value is deep within your heart.”
“You don’t have to participate in this tumultuous, often one-sided journey. Preserve your heart, even when they try to quantify your character and test your boundaries, you do not have to engage. You do not have to respond because there is power in your silence.”
Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes’ brother, Jackson Mahomes, showed his support in the comments even though she previously unfollowed him as well as Patrick and Brittany Mahomes.
