Jameis Winston is quite the character. But he’s probably outdone himself with a comment regarding his LASIK treatment that Bruce Arians couldn’t help but laugh at.
The Cleveland Browns quarterback underwent the corrective procedure to get his vision right after leaving the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
LASIK, which stands for Lasser Assisted In Situ Keratomileusis, is a type of refractive eye surgery used to fix various eye problems such as nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism (blurry vision).
As mentioned above, Winston had the treatment done. And it appears it was badly needed as he thought Arians was a black man, which is something he said himself.
You can see the Super Bowl-winning coach joke about it while on ‘Pardon My Take’ in the video below:
“Jameis will never let you down on a comment 😂,” a fan laughed.

Jameis Winston Loved Working With Bruce Arians
Jameis Winston did not have as productive a time in Tampa Bay as he would have liked but still appreciated his former coach, making his feelings on Arians clear during an interview on the aforementioned podcast in February.
“It was an amazing experience working with him,” he said. “He was the first person who gave me this vision of being a Super Bowl champion quarterback [back when the two first crossed paths when Jameis was in high school].
“When he got to Tampa I thought, ‘This is it. This is who I have been molded to play for.’”
The Bucs, who drafted Winston in 2015, opted not to re-sign him in 2019, signing Tom Brady in free agency instead. It proved to be an excellent decision.
