Detroit Lions running back Jahmyr Gibbs was initially not in trouble for leaking the team’s plays, but that all changed when his head coach found out in the most unlikely way.
Jahmyr Gibbs posted a picture of his teammate and fellow running back Jermar Jefferson on social media but failed to realize what was behind his teammate.
Gibbs’ photo of Jefferson had a whiteboard in the background that listed the team’s dropback protections. Once he finally realized it, the Detroit Lions running back would delete the picture, but unfortunately for him, a lot of people had already saved it.
When asked about Gibbs leaking the picture, head coach Dan Campbell said he was not aware of what happened, “Oh, I didn’t know that,” Campbell responded. “Yeah, I need to check on that. Did not know that. Yeah, I’d rather our stuff not be out there.”
The reporter who brought it to his attention unknowingly snitched on Gibbs.

The big-time blunder will force the Detroit Lions to change things up, as the rest of their opponents will see the picture and account for it when they play.
Detroit Lions RB Jahmyr Gibbs Had The Least Amount of Carries of The Year On Thanksgiving
The Lions may have won on Thanksgiving, but Jahmyr Gibbs was not used as much as he thought he would.
For the first time all year, the RB did not tally at least ten carries.
Gibbs carried the ball nine times for 87 yards while also catching two of his four targets for 17 yards in the Lions’ 30-23 Week 13 win over the Bears.
His leaked picture was unlikely due to his lack of production and had more to do with his lack of critical thinking skills.
