Things just keep getting worse and worse for Henry Ruggs. And after this latest revelation, it’s hard to imagine anyone having any sort of sympathy for the former Las Vegas Raiders receiver.
By now you’ve no doubt heard about the accident that took the life of 23-year-old Tina Tintor and her dog, which occurred after a drunk Henry Ruggs slammed his speeding Corvette into the back of Tina’s Rav4.
Since the accident, many details have some out, like the fact that Ruggs blew a .161, which is over twice the legal limit. And that he was driving 156 MPH before the crash, and 127 MPH when the airbags deployed.
Now, we’re learning that this sort of reckless behavior isn’t a first for Ruggs. Far from it.
Based on a video that was released in September 2020, it appears as though speeding down residential streets is something Ruggs has been doing for a while now, sober or not.

In this video which has been unearthed following his fatal crash, Ruggs is seen speeding down a street while his girlfriend Rudy Washington — who was also injured during Tuesday morning’s crash — is heard giggling and telling the former Alabama star to “slow down.”
The video was originally posted on Washington’s YouTube page, The RUPrint, but has since been removed.
It was also reported that the Nevada Highway Patrol issued traffic citations to Ruggs for using a cell phone and driving with his Alabama-issued license for more than a year back in April.
Ruggs’ driving habits have been totally inexcusable. You’d have to think that prosecutors and the judge will take videos like this into consideration when this court case begins.
Henry Ruggs has been charged with DUI resulting in death. He could be facing anywhere from 2 to 20 years in prison.
