DK Metcalf is not taking any disrespect from anyone, and he does not care how young you might be.
During a recent visit to Cathedral High School in what looks like a scheduled workout with other players, controversy kicked off for the wideout as he tried to get some work in.
In the midst of Seattle Seahawks wide receiver DK Metcalf working out, there were some high school players watching and recording. Well, one of the players decided he was going to get some clout by trash-talking the all-pro wideout.
Unfortunately for him, this is not social media, and DK Metcalf heard him and walked over to confront him.
Metcalf walked over and asked: “What you say?”
The young high school kid repeated: “I said, “Jalen Ramsey is your daddy.”
Metcalf asked, “Why did you say that?“

The kid responded with, “the film.”
DK Metcalf then ended the session by stating, “Who are you?” which sent his teammates into a frenzy of laughs while repeating what the WR said.
Metcalf eventually walked back to the field.
Unfortunately, young people are starting to get more and more disrespectful towards athletes, as we have seen with Cam Newton, Russell Westbrook, Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook, and many more.
The anonymity of social media and the ability to say whatever have given people the courage to think they could say the same thing in public without fear of being called out.
DK Metcalf Had Pro Bowl Season In 2023
DK Metcalf led the Seahawks with 1,114 receiving yards and eight touchdown receptions, averaging a career-high 16.9 yards per catch during the 2023 season.
Due to his play, he was elected to his second career Pro Bowl selection. This was actually the first time he was able to participate since his first one came in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic.
