Detroit Lions fans care about their team no matter where they are.
A plane full of Lions fans headed towards Detroit International Airport made that known when a flight attendant interrupted the ending of “Sunday Night Football.”
A plane full of Lions fans was descending into Detroit Metro Airport on Sunday during the conclusion of the game between the Lions and the Texans when a flight attendant got on the microphone at the wrong time.
Her timing could not have been worse. As she clicked on the intercom right as Lions kicker Jake Bates was lining up his 52-yard field goal try with four seconds left in the tied game.
The flight attendant got to “Thank you” before she was met with multiple groans and people shouting “No!” throughout the cabin.
She actually apologized.
Seconds later, Detroit Lions fans on the flight would go crazy as Bates booted the ball up in the air.

The flight attendant went right back to business, as she was able to get her final announcement.

Somehow, they overcame Jared Goff, completing 15 of his 30 passes for 240 yards, two touchdowns, and five interceptions.
