Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott has explained the reason he has been wearing a walking boot lately, insisting there’s nothing to worry about.
The signal-caller was photographed wearing the boot last week, prompting much speculation about his ankle. There were also claims of him not being 100 percent, with an insider stating many experts have been betting against Dallas because of this.
Prescott was questioned at his Football Procamp this week and said there’s “absolutely nothing” wrong with his ankle, claiming he was simply erring on the side of caution.
“Honestly, I’m getting older,” he said. “It’s the same ankle that I snapped and had a nasty surgery on four years ago so, a couple of hard days of training, you get a little sore and then you’re going on a fishing trip and you wanna protect it and make sure things don’t get worse so literally, it’s absolutely nothing.”
