What a night for Jalen Tolbert.
On Sunday Night Football, Dallas turned the ball over three times but was able to overcome that to pull ahead in the final minute of the game.
A familiar refrain surrounding the Dallas Cowboys over the past few seasons is that Dak Prescott can put up a lot of stats, but still has a way of keeping the opponents in the game with his equally bad and confusing play at times.
Somehow, despite a three-turnover night from their quarterback, the Dallas Cowboys stole a victory out from under the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday night.
Dak Prescott’s fourth-down touchdown pass to Jalen Tolbert with 20 seconds saved the team from going under .500 to improve the Cowboys’ record to 3-2.
It almost did not happen.
Following the game, Cowboys offensive lineman Tyler Smith detailed wide receiver Jalen Tolbert’s injury before he scored the go-ahead touchdown during the team’s 20-17 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday Night Football.

“Bro, it was miraculous,” Smith told reporters after the game, via Mike Leslie of WFAA Dallas. “JT literally sprained his f–king nuts – excuse me, sorry guys – sprained his nuts the play before. Then comes back, makes the game-winner. Unbelievable.”
Here is that moment:
Dallas Cowboys Wide Receiver Jalen Tolbert Has Best Game of His Career
Dak Prescott overcame two interceptions and threw a clutch fourth-down touchdown pass to Jalen Tolbert with 20 seconds remaining to bring down the Steelers in a game that had over an hour weather delay on Sunday Night Football.
Jalen Tolbert had quite the right.
In fact, he had the best game of his career as he hauled in seven passes for 87 yards and that aformentioned touchdown.
Those numbers beat out his previous highs of six catches for 82 yards, which was done in a loss to the New Orleans Saints in Week Two.
Tolbert has been receiving an insane amount of targets from Dak Prescott and he has been delivering.
The sky is the limit if he can truly become a viable weapon in the team’s passing offense.
