Cleveland Browns quarterback and former first overall pick Jameis Winston broke the internet again with another hysterical and typical Jameis Winston moment.
Jameis Winston, the No. 1 selection of the 2015 NFL Draft, will always be famous for his timeless “Eat a W” pre-game speech ahead of a Tampa Bay Buccaneers-New Orleans Saints in 2017. Ever since that moment, football fans have grown accustomed to hilarious Winston soundbites and catchphrases, but what he did this weekend was truly something else.
Winston attended a Sport Fishing Championship called “The Catch” in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, today. The tournament was won by the team of Saints running back Alvin Kamara (Winston’s former teammate), Miami Dolphins RB Raheem Mostert and Jaselyn Berthelot.
The day before those three won the big tournament, Winston broke the internet by once again displaying his hilarious personality. Take, for one, the man’s decision to interview a flapping fish right after his friends captured it:

Or how about this moment where he did his best to educate the audience on a small fish, but not before singing “Wobble with me, wobble with me”:
Jameis Winston, ladies and gentlemen.
Jameis Winston Gets A Fresh Start In Cleveland
The New Orleans Saints signed Winston in the 2020 offseason to back up Drew Brees and do-it-all playmaker Taysom Hill. Following Brees’ retirement in 2021, the Saints decided to bring back Winston as their starting QB.
Winston got off to a promising start in 2021, but he unfortunately suffered a season-ending ACL tear in Week 8 against the Buccaneers. New Orleans brought him back on a two-year deal in 2022, but head coach Dennis Allen decided to make Andy Dalton the starter following a series of injuries to Winston.
So now the 30-year-old Winston takes his talents to Cleveland on a one-year deal, where he may end up starting if oft-injured quarterback Deshaun Watson can’t stay healthy. The other QBs on Cleveland’s roster are the lesser-experienced Tyler Huntley and Dorian Thompson-Robinson.
