Kansas City Chiefs superstar tight end Travis Kelce certainly looks more than ready to film his scenes for Adam Sandler’s upcoming “Happy Gilmore” sequel.
Last week, Sandler confirmed that Travis Kelce will have a cameo in “Happy Gilmore 2” during his appearance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.” The first film, released in 1996, was a hit comedy about Sandler becoming a professional golfer after a failed hockey career.
On his Instagram story, Kelce shared a video of him making a hilarious reference to the film (“Too good for your home?) before ripping a drive Happy Gilmore-style. And let’s just say this guy doesn’t need any more rehearsing for his cameo:
We won’t give away too many spoilers on the plot for those who haven’t seen the first “Happy Gilmore” film. We will tell you that Sandler’s character makes it professionally because of his hockey slap shot-style swing that allows him to drive the ball a mile.
The first film featured several cameo appearances from prominent celebrities and athletes like Bob Barker (the longtime host of “The Price is Right”), pro golfer Lee Trevino, and iconic sports announcer Verne Lundquist.

Travis Kelce & Chiefs Begin Three-Peat Quest In 8 Days
Kelce and his Chiefs will kick off the 2024 campaign in eight days, with reigning MVP Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens traveling to Arrowhead Stadium in the season opener.
No team in NFL history has won three straight Super Bowls, but the Chiefs are now two-thirds of the way there. They already achieved dynasty status by defeating the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl 58, but now we wait and see if the Chiefs can make it four championships in six years.
