Cousins had one of the finest nights of his football life on Thursday, throwing for an Atlanta Falcons-record 509 yards in a walk-off 36-30 comeback victory over the rival Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Not long after firing a 45-yard game-winning touchdown to KhaDarel Hodge in overtime, Kirk Cousins could be seen yelling, “You like that?!” in the Falcons locker room after orchestrating an incredible 36-30 overtime win against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Thursday night.
All the Falcons players had water bottles in their hands as they got ready to throw them on wide receiver KhaDarel Hodge, who had the game-winning touchdown play.
Kirk Cousins wasn’t the only one screaming the catchphrase. Wide receiver Drake London, who caught 12 passes for 154 yards and a touchdown, was seen yelling it in the tunnel on his way to the locker room. He then yelled, “I feel like Kirko Chainz!”

The victory gave the Falcons a 3-2 record and firmly placed them in first place in the NFC South.
Cousins and the Falcons are next in action on Oct. 13 against the Carolina Panthers.

Cousins went 42 for 58 for 509 passing yards and four passing TDs in an overtime win against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. In doing so, he became the 22nd different QB in NFL history to throw for 500+ passing yards in a game.
Kirk Cousins also set the franchise record for most passing yards in a game in Atlanta’s 36-30 overtime victory on Thursday night.
