Cameras caught the Green Bay Packers players and staffers touching down in São Paulo, Brazil ahead of Friday night’s showdown against the Philadelphia Eagles.
The Green Bay Packers, designated as the visiting team, will take on the Eagles at Arena Corinthians at 8:15 p.m. EST. Friday’s contest will also mark the first NFL game to take place in Brazil.
Ahead of the game, there have been reports about concerns for players safety. Eagles wide receiver AJ Brown and cornerback Darius Slay have publicly stated that they were given plenty of warnings for their safety, with Slay stating that they were told never to leave the hotel.
On Wednesday evening, the official NFL/X Twitter account shared a video of the Packers landing in São Paulo. As you can tell by their facial expressions, the Packers don’t look all that enthused to be there;
Several fans even noticed the concerned looks on the Packers’ faces:

Of course, it’s also likely that the players look unenthusiastic because of the lengthy and tiring 10-hour flight. At any rate, Jordan Love and company have a game to prepare for a game that takes place in less than 48 hours.
Green Bay Packers Look To Build Off Surprising 2023 Season
After Aaron Rodgers was traded to the New York Jets ahead of the NFL Draft, not much was expected of the Packers heading into the 2023 season.
Nobody knew what to expect of Jordan Love, who had made just one start over his first three NFL seasons as Rodgers’ backup. Sure enough, the 2020 first-round pick put together an MVP-caliber 2023 campaign by throwing for 4,159 yards and 32 touchdowns against only 11 interceptions.
Love’s efforts helped the Packers to a 9-8 record and postseason appearance. They continued the underdog run by stunning the Dallas Cowboys in the Wild Card Round before narrowly losing to the San Francisco 49ers in the Divisional Round.
Now, we wait and see what Love and the Packers can do for an encore in 2024.
