Just when you thought Brandon Aiyuk would not be traded and might stay with the San Francisco 49ers, he is back to his old tricks of stirring up controversy.
Social media detectives couldn’t help but notice that the disgruntled wide receiver was noticeably liking posts on Instagram about him heading to the Washington Commanders.
The Commanders are already in the news after trading away first-round receiver Jahan Dotson.
This seems to suggest a potential move to acquire Brandon Aiyuk and reunite him with former Arizona State teammate Jayden Daniels.
Whatever happens, the clock is ticking as the first Sunday of the regular season is only a little over two weeks away.
While not official, it appears that Brandon Aiyuk’s preferred destinations are remaining with the San Francisco 49ers or a trade to the Pittsburgh Steelers or Washington Commanders.

New Report States Washington Not of Trade Trade Talks For Brandon Aiyuk
Jahan Dotson was Jayden Daniels’s primary target on Sunday during the Washington Commanders’ second preseason game.
Days later, he would be traded to the rival Philadelphia Eagles.
The Commanders got some future draft picks in exchange for a former first-round pick, which will seemingly be used to get Brandon Aiyuk.
According to Mike Silver of the San Francisco Chronicle, Aiyuk ending up in Washington is still a possibility.
“My updated information is that everything is still on the table, including all the trades you’ve heard about… That Steelers scenario… I wouldn’t rule out Washington,” Silver said on KNBR.
As it currently stands, the 49ers are still trying to come to terms with Aiyuk.
