Cincinnati Bengals star cornerback Cam Taylor-Britt doesn’t regret what he said about the Jayden Daniels-led Washington Commanders offense, even if his trash talk aged poorly.
Last week, Cam Taylor-Britt took a shot at the Commanders by calling Kliff Kingsbury’s offensive system a “nice college offense,” stating that they kept it “simple for” Jayden Daniels.
Well, that “nice college offense’ lit up Taylor-Britt’s Bengals for 38 points in a stunning five-point victory at Paycor Stadium. The loss dropped Cincy to 0-3 on the year, already likely ending their bid at a return to the postseason.
Speaking to reporters after the game, however, the Bengals standout cornerback refused to back down from his previous comments. Taylor-Britt expressed no “regret” despite being put in his place by Jayden Daniels and the Commanders, per Kelsey Conway of the Cincinnati Enquirer.
“I don’t regret it,” Taylor-Britt said. ‘I didn’t mean anything malicious out of the comment. It was made bigger than it was. Yes, I can eat my words most definitely. We did take an L today.”

Jayden Daniels continued the excellent start to his rookie season by dicing up the Bengals secondary for 254 passing yards (21-of- 23 on pass attempts) for two touchdowns, along with a team-leading 39 rushing yards and one rushing score.
Through his first three NFL games, the second-overall pick of 2024 has a ridiculous 80.3 completion percentage, 664 passing yards, two touchdowns, zero interceptions, 171 rushing yards and three rushing scores.
Daniels and his Commanders will try to extend the winning streak to three when they visit Kyler Murray and the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday.
Jayden Daniels Brings New Life To Washington
The Commanders had sunk to irrelevance and dysfunction during Dan Snyder’s tenure as owner (1999 to 2022). The fanbase was given a break for the ages when Snyder sold the team to Josh Harris’ group in 2023, kick-starting a brand new era of Washington football.
Daniels has already brought new life to the long-suffering Washington fanbase. His all-world play, energy and leadership has increased morale across the organization, and the loyal Commanders’ supporters finally have something to celebrate again.
