A new camera angle shows just how vicious and unnecessary Myles Murphy’s hit was on C.J. Stroud.
In the first quarter of Sunday’s game between the Houston Texans and Cincinnati Bengals, Murphy delivered a cheap shot of a hit to Stroud’s head while the latter was being tackled by two defenders.
Making matters worse, officials somehow missed the penalty and failed to throw a flag for the hit on the defenseless rookie QB:
Thankfully, Stroud avoided a serious injury and was able to play out the remainder of the game. He had 23 completions for 356 yards and a touchdown in Houston’s 30-27 win.
