The Atlanta Falcons fan base is just the latest example of how badly people can behave at stadiums during games.
On Sunday, the Falcons welcomed the Los Angeles Chargers inside Mercedes-Benz Stadium in an effort to stop their free-fall in the standings.
Unfortunately, Kirk Cousins put up one of his worst performances of the season, which resulted in a 17-13 loss and extended the team’s losing streak to three games.
In the stands of Mercedes-Benz Stadium was an argument that would give way to violence.
Apparently, one Atlanta Falcons fan would be on the receiving end of as many as 20 punches to the face during a fight.
A man in a beige-colored coat could be seen going to town with numerous right hands to the face of a person seated below him as others moved in to break it up.

There is no word on how the fight started, whether security eventually got involved, or whether any of the Atlanta Falcons fans were escorted out and arrested.
As for the actual game, the fans were likely upset at the way Kirk Cousins was playing.
Cousins finished 24-for-39 passing for 245 yards and no touchdowns. He also had four interceptions Sunday against the Los Angeles Chargers.
The 36-year-old hasn’t thrown a touchdown in three consecutive games, his longest spell since becoming a full-time starter in 2015.
The Atlanta Falcons Are Falling Fast
The Atlanta Falcons lost, 17-13, to the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday in their Week 13 matchup at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. With every loss, they are quickly turning a good season into a lost one.
Earlier in the season, it looked like the Falcons were going to run away with the division title. Now, they have lost three straight games to fall to 6-6 and are in danger of not only losing their first-place standings but also not going to the postseason at all.
