New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers is taking some heat online following his team’s fifth loss of the season, with the QB now thought to be blaming the media for their failings.
The Jets lost another game on Sunday night, falling to the Pittsburgh Steelers on the road. Despite several notable changes, they are now 2-5 heading into their eighth game of the season.
Even with the Davante Adams reunion party underway, the Jets got little going in their offense in the second half of the ‘Sunday Night Football’ fixture, with Russell Wilson snatching all of the plaudits up after a first appearance for Pittsburgh.
A-Rod was asked how he plans on keeping belief in the team up in the locker room after the loss and took a shot at the press.
“Stop listening to you guys, number one,” he replied.
“Number two, gotta be accountable, you know. I gotta play better,” he added.

Social Media Hits Out At Aaron Rodgers After His Comments
Social media users did not appreciate Rodgers’s unwarranted attack on the media and sounded off in the comments.
“Rodgers has moved on to blaming the media 🤦♂️,” an account shared.
“You are what your record says you are. That’s not coming from the media, it’s the truth. 2-5,” someone else pointed out.
“His hostility towards the media is directly correlated to his team’s record. In the offseason or when they’re winning, he’s super friendly and charismatic. When they’re losing, he blames the media for things they have absolutely nothing to do with,” said another.
“Woody Johnson got fooled. Russell Wilson looked so much better last night,” a comment read.
There’s still hope that Rodgers and the Jets will come good this season. However, they don’t have that many games left to turn things around, with seven now in the rearview mirror.
