When Michael Vick got loose outside of the pocket in the early 2000’s, no matter if it was in real life or in the video game Madden 04, it was almost impossible to stop him.
You can pretty much say the same thing about Lamar Jackson in 2019. You might want to call them both equals, but that is no longer the case after Vick paid tribute to Jackson’s speed by unveiling Nike’s all-new customized cleat commemorating the Ravens QB on the achievement.
By surpassing Vick’s 95 speed by a point, Jackson became the fastest QB in Madden history.
“This quote right here, whoever said it to Lamar, now they’re eating those words,” Vick said of the “Not bad for a RB” quote on the side of the cleat.
Vick continued by saying “the new generation are supposed to better than us.”
