Let’s just be honest here…If you’re following medical advice from Bart Scott to begin with, then there was no saving you from the beginning.
Earlier this week, the “Get Up!” crew was discussing the weather in Buffalo for Saturday’s wild-card game when Scott gave his recommendation to quarterback Josh Allen, who said he has bad circulation. The forecast projects single-digits for the Saturday night matchup between the Buffalo Bills and New England Patriots and Scott wants Allen to pop a Viagra beforehand to stay warm.
“Take some Viagra before the game, baby,” Scott said, much to the chagrin of his colleagues. “That’ll get that circulation going right.”
“Viagra was first a heart medicine, right?,” Scott added. “So, it builds up circulation, which makes sure it gets circulation to the feet.”
However, Viagra is telling NFL players to pump their brakes.

A rep for Viagra tells TMZ Sports the medicine should only be used for its intended purposes … even if Scott swears it’ll help with blood circulation in cold temps.
“Viagra or Revatio, both of which contain sildenafil as an active ingredient, should only be used in the approved indications and always under the supervision of a physician,” the rep tells us.
Allen has struggled in cold weather, including a few weeks ago when the Patriots were in town for large wind gusts, rain and show showers. Saturday’s game could be the second-coldest game in Bills history with temperatures between 6 and 8 degrees expected at kickoff.
