When Odell Beckham Jr. went down with a season ending injury against the Cincinnati Bengals last week, that was likely the final time he would be in uniform for the Browns.
NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport said on NFL Game Day Morning on Sunday that there is a “very real possibility” Beckham has played his final game with the Cleveland Browns.
Beckham is set to earn $15.75 million in total compensation next year. Of that, $12.791 million is guaranteed for injury and converts to a full guarantee if he’s on the roster the third day of the league year.
Rapoport adds that if the Browns want to trade him, it would probably be around the spring or the summer of 2021.
Through seven games this year, Beckham caught 23 balls for 319 yards and three touchdowns this season while also posting 72 yards rushing off just three carries and one score.
