Not only are Miami Dolphins fans wasting money watching a terrible product on the field, they are apparently being robbed of even more money trying to purchase refreshments at the stadium.
This past Sunday, the Miami Dolphins were taking on the Los Angeles Chargers when a fan at Hard Rock Stadium decided to get himself 2 beers fr the occasion. It was the most expensive beer he would purchase in his life.
A vendor at the game found himself under arrest after he used a skimming device to overcharge that fan by hundreds of dollars.
Via Local 10 News:
“Nathaniel Collier, 33, faces charges of third-degree grand theft and possession of a skimming device.
According to an arrest affidavit, the victim ordered two beers from Collier during Miami’s 30-10 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers and gave him his credit card to pay for them. But police said Collier used his personal card reader to charge the victim $724.”
Tough break for the Dolphins fan as he had to watch his team drop to 0-4 and then check his bank account later and find out somebody robbed him blind.
