Move over, Taylor Swift. The NFL has found a person to perform at the halftime of the Super Bowl.
Usher will host the 2023 Super Bowl Halftime show. The legendary singer will hit the stage at the Super Bowl halftime show on Feb. 11, 2024, at Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, Nevada, the NFL, Roc Nation, and Apple Music made the announcement on Sunday.
“It’s an honor of a lifetime to finally check a Super Bowl performance off my bucket list. I can’t wait to bring the world a show unlike anything else they’ve seen from me before,” Usher said in a statement. “Thank you to the fans and everyone who made this opportunity happen. I’ll see you real soon.”
Apple Music also got Kim Kardashian to play a role in the Super Bowl Halftime Show announcement.
This will mark Usher’s second Super Bowl appearance as he performed alongside the Black Eyed Peas when the pop group headlined the game in 2011.
As of right now, the legend is currently completing his My Way The Las Vegas Residency and has been quite the hit with rave reviews for how entertaining it has been.
