The frightening situation at Everson Griffen’s home continues to unfold, with no end in sight at the moment.
Earlier today, it was reported that the Minnesota Vikings star pass-rusher was alone in his home with a gun, fearful that there were people trying to kill him. A video posted on his instagram account (which was deleted soon after) shows Griffen toting a gun in his bed while claiming people were shooting at him. Text messages to a friend showed fearful Griffen pleading for help, while a police report indicated that he told a 911 dispatcher that he had fired his gun in his home, but no one was injured.
According to the latest update from Lou Ragose from KARE 11 in Minnesota, the situation is still on-going, with police blocking off the area so no one can get in as Griffen remains armed in his home.
No word yet on whether the police have been able to communicate with Griffen and what he’s told them, if so.
