Philadelphia Eagles cornerback Cooper DeJean capped his rookie season with an incredible moment against Patrick Mahomes.
The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback had a miserable game that began with a terrible first half.
The Kansas City Chiefs had arguably their worst first half under head coach Andy Reid to go down 24-0 in Super Bowl LIX against the Philadelphia Eagles.
Patrick Mahomes completed just 6 of 14 pass attempts for 33 yards through the air with no touchdowns and two interceptions.
One of those interceptions ended up in points as Eagles standout rookie defender Cooper DeJean took his pass back for a touchdown.
DeJean’s pick-6 was arguably the most exciting moment of the Super Bowl, and it sounded even better from the NFL UK and their commentating team.

Cooper DeJean Got The Ultimate Birthday Gift As He Won The Fans’ Vote For MVP
It was not an ideal start for Patrick Mahomes in Super Bowl LIX, and Philadelphia Eagles cornerback Cooper DeJean did not make it any better.
The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback tossed a pass that was intercepted by him and was returned for a touchdown.
The selection of Jalen Hurts as Super Bowl LIX MVP was hardly a surprise in the wake of the Eagles’ 40-22 victory. He completed 17 of 22 passes for 221 yards and a pair of touchdowns while running for another score.
According to Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk.com, rookie cornerback Cooper DeJean actually received the most votes of any player on a public NFL.com poll during the game.
That is actually worth 2.5 votes out of a possible 20 total votes.
This was just an all-around great day for a guy who was celebrating his birthday.
